Danfoss Launches GH493 Hydraulic Hose

Danfoss Power Solutions has announced the launch of its Aeroquip® by Danfoss GH493 four-wire spiral hose in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Meeting industry standards including EN856 Type R12, EN856 Type 4SP, SAE 100R12 and ISO 18752, the GH493 offers flexibility with a tighter minimum bend radius. This feature allows for easier installation, reduced hose lengths, and lower overall machine weight in high-pressure mobile and industrial applications says the company.

The hose is tested for durability, exceeding requirements for impulse cycles in a variety of sizes. It is also compatible with Danfoss 4S series spiral fittings, designed to provide improved sealing and leak-free operation. With operating temperatures ranging from -40°C to 126°C and working pressures between 275 and 448 bar, the GH493 is suitable for demanding environments.
