Hatch Wins OPWA Award for Eramosa Bridge Project


Hatch has been announced as the recipient of the Public Works Project of the Year Award from the Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) in the Historical Restoration/Preservation category, honoring excellence in the management and administration of public works projects.

Hatch served as the prime consultant, collaborating with Metrolinx, Archaeological Research Associates (ARA), and Soncin Construction to deliver project management and multidisciplinary design services, enhancing construction efficiency for the Eramosa River Bridge replacement project.

“The Eramosa River Bridge project exemplifies excellence by fostering collaboration, prioritizing safety, and bridging the past and present. We established a new benchmark for public works projects, highlighting the important role of all the stakeholders in creating our communities’ future,” said Terry Kelly, project manager.
