Polyset Introduces Ply-Seal® SS Precompressed Joint Seal

Polyset has announced the launch of Ply-Seal® SS, a high-performance precompressed joint seal composed of micro-cell monolithic polyurethane foam. The joint seal is impregnated with a waterproof, hydrophobic polymer sealing compound and features a traffic-grade silicone coating that is resistant to UV exposure and chemicals. Ply-Seal® SS is installed using Ply-Bonder, a two-part epoxy adhesive that ensures a secure, waterproof bond capable of accommodating movement of +/- 50% in both tension and compression.

Designed for demanding environments Ply-Seal® SS is suited for both new construction and rehabilitation projects. The company say it offers durability in extreme temperature ranges and resistance to weather, UV, and chemicals, while also handling vertical and horizontal shear.
