Loadscan, a global provider of load volume scanning technology, has opened a new branch in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, as part of its strategy to enhance its presence in Latin America. Located in one of Brazil's primary mining regions, this new branch aims to support the country's mining and civil construction industries by delivering accurate payload measurement and increased operational efficiency for bulk materials handling.
The expansion coincides with a New Zealand trade mission to Brazil, led by Trade Minister Todd McClay and marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between New Zealand and Brazil. Brazil’s growing industries, particularly in mining and construction, align with Loadscan's focus on providing technology that improves productivity and cost management for large-scale operations.
“We are pleased to establish a presence in Belo Horizonte, an ideal location to support our growth in the region. Brazil offers a dynamic market, and we look forward to helping businesses here enhance their operations through precise load volume scanning technology." said Carey West, CEO of Loadscan.
