XCMG has launched the XCA60_EV, a 60-tonne hybrid mobile telescopic crane designed to reduce emissions and operating costs. The company says that the crane can lift with zero emissions while maintaining speed and efficiency. It features a battery integrated into the counterweight, enabling electric operation for 6-8 hours without the need for an additional battery truck. The hybrid system also minimizes fuel consumption, addressing sustainability requirements.
According to XCMG, the crane’s batteries recharge through regenerative braking, ensuring they remain charged during transport. Flexible charging options and an automatic switch to 8A add to its adaptability. The company also highlights the crane’s low noise and vibration levels, which contribute to a safer and healthier working environment.
XCA60_EV is designed to support customers in meeting stricter environmental standards while maintaining operational efficiency. The combination of hybrid technology and reduced fuel consumption provides both cost savings and sustainability benefits.
