J.D. Neuhaus Honors Johann Diederich Neuhaus

J.D. Neuhaus marks the 100th anniversary of Johann Diederich Neuhaus’ birth, recognizing his contributions to lifting technology. During his 43 years with the company, he introduced the use of pneumatic drives in hoists, improving efficiency and safety. This development, initially applied in mining, later expanded into other industries. His work also included the launch of the PROFI series, which remains a key part of the company’s product lineup.

In 1995, leadership transitioned to the seventh generation, Wilfried Neuhaus-Galladé, following a planned succession. Johann Diederich Neuhaus also played a role in preserving industry history by establishing the company’s museum. J.D. Neuhaus adds that his influence continues to shape the company’s approach to innovation and reliability in hoisting solutions.
