Lekatech is participating in the European Demolition Association’s (EDA) newly established working group on urban regeneration and carbon footprint. The initiative, led by the French Association of Deconstruction, Decontamination, and Recycling Companies (SEDDRE), aims to highlight demolition’s role in supporting circular economy principles and sustainability goals in Europe.
EDA plans to develop a guide explaining how demolition contributes to urban renewal while reducing environmental impact. The association states that the publication will help clarify demolition’s function as an enabler of regeneration rather than merely a removal process.
Lekatech says its involvement in the working group aligns with its commitment to advancing sustainable demolition practices and collaboration with industry experts provides an opportunity to share insights and contribute to discussions on responsible deconstruction.
