Combilift, the Ireland-based manufacturer of multidirectional and customised handling equipment, has received a Red Dot Award for Product Design 2025 for its latest model, the Combi-CB70E. The 7-tonne electric counterbalance forklift, designed to handle long and heavy loads in tight spaces, was recognised for its ergonomic improvements, zero-emission capabilities, and suitability for demanding industrial environments.
This marks the company’s third Red Dot accolade, following earlier wins for other models in its portfolio. Combilift’s stated focus on combining sustainability with performance is reflected in the CB70E’s features, including all-terrain functionality and enhanced operator comfort. According to the company, the design is aimed at customers seeking high-capacity electric alternatives without compromising manoeuvrability or durability.
"We are delighted to receive our third Red Dot Award this year for the Combi-CB70E. Our design and engineering teams have been striving to provide solutions that are not only functional and safe but also reflect excellence in industrial design. Our customers increasingly demand electric alternatives that don't compromise on performance, and the CB70E is exactly that." said Martin McVicar, CEO and Co-founder of Combilift.
