Rajant Corporation has introduced the Peregrine FE1-2255X, the latest addition to its BreadCrumb® portfolio, designed to advance intelligent edge networking across demanding industries such as mining, construction, ports, and defense. The ruggedised node incorporates Rajant’s patented InstaMesh® to support real-time data transfer, resilient connectivity, and seamless scaling for high-density industrial networks, while also enhancing autonomous equipment performance in remote or harsh environments.
The new Peregrine model features upgraded throughput, lower latency, improved uplink capacity, and increased spectral efficiency, aiming to reduce downtime and deliver long-distance, high-bandwidth links with fewer infrastructure nodes. Compatibility with existing Rajant systems is also maintained, simplifying upgrades and enabling a smoother transition to advanced wireless capabilities in mission-critical settings.
“The launch of Peregrine is about preparing our customers’ networks for what’s next. Designed with performance, security, and flexibility at its core, Peregrine enables more devices and data-heavy applications to run resiliently. Fewer infrastructure nodes and faster deployment lowers costs, while its intelligent edge integration ensures a solution that evolves with our customers’ needs.” said Andrew Martin, Director of Product Management at Rajant.
