Trelleborg Launches New Stefa® High-Pressure Seals for Challenging Applications

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has introduced the Stefa® high-pressure radial shaft seal portfolio, designed to enhance performance in demanding applications. The seals address challenges such as pressure spikes, shaft misalignment, and high-speed operations, making them suitable for hydraulic motors, pumps, and other critical equipment. Developed using advanced R&D and finite element analysis, the seals are compatible with a range of industries, including construction, mining, agriculture, and aerospace.

The portfolio includes several options optimized for specific needs. The HP20 series, for instance, handles pressures up to 20 MPa, while the HP20S is designed for high-torque, low-speed motors. The SPS-HP20 addresses misalignment, and the SPV seal offers durability under pressure fluctuations and high speeds. Material choices, including HNBR and FKM elastomers, allow customization for varied operating conditions.
