CDE will host ‘CIRCLE 2025’, a waste recycling symposium, this October in Brussels. The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and technology experts to discuss opportunities for reducing waste and increasing material recovery. It builds on CDE’s previous Circular Driven Economy Symposium, last held in London, and aims to advance discussions on circular economy practices in Europe and beyond.
The company says its wet processing technology has already helped recover over 230 million tonnes of material for reuse in construction, reducing reliance on virgin resources. CDE states that while recycled materials cannot replace all raw materials, integrating them into supply chains can cut costs and emissions. The symposium will explore how industries can adapt to legislative changes and market demands while addressing sustainability challenges.
“Our solutions are already supporting the waste recycling ecosystem, but collaboration is essential to accelerate change. CIRCLE 2025 will provide a platform for industry leaders to share knowledge and shape the future of mineral waste recycling.” said Eunan Kelly, CDE’s head of business development for Europe.
