The launch of the Volvo L120 Electric wheel loader in France highlights growing momentum toward sustainable construction equipment. Running on a 282 kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery, the machine offers emission-free, low-noise operation and up to nine hours of productivity per charge, paired with rapid charging for operational flexibility.
The machine was delivered to ROGER MARTIN Group, a company with a longstanding commitment to sustainability and innovation in construction operations. This investment builds on the Group’s existing fleet of Volvo equipment, including electric models, reflecting its broader strategy to reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency. The loader also contributes to improved onsite air quality and reduced noise, benefiting workers and surrounding communities.
“Investing in this electric machine is a sign of confidence in the future. Fully electric equipment won’t replace every machine overnight, but it is a vital part of the solution, and we are committed to leading this transition responsibly.” said Vincent Martin, president of ROGER MARTIN Group.
