Bobcat, a global leader in equipment and worksite solutions, recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new €280 million manufacturing facility in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The 65,000-square-meter facility, located near Monterrey, will enhance Bobcat's global production capacity for select compact track and skid-steer loader models. The facility is expected to begin operations in 2026, complementing Bobcat’s existing manufacturing operations in the U.S. and the Czech Republic.
The new factory, which aims to achieve LEED Silver certification, will feature advanced technology focused on quality, precision, and energy efficiency. This investment reflects Bobcat's commitment to addressing growing global demand for its equipment. The project is anticipated to create between 600 to 800 jobs in the Salinas Victoria region.
“Our investment in this new facility in Salinas Victoria reflects our confidence in the region's skilled workforce and robust business environment,” said Mike Ballweber, President of Doosan Bobcat North America. “This expansion is an integral part of our strategy to support long-term growth and better serve our customers worldwide.”
