Alimak Mammoth Increases Construction Site Efficiency

Alimak has introduced the Mammoth, the world’s largest construction hoist, designed to address the challenges of transporting large materials like prefabricated pods and external cladding panels. With a lifting capacity of 4,000 to 5,500 kg, the Mammoth reduces the number of trips required, improving productivity on construction sites. Its modular design, based on a twin-masted system, allows for customisable car sizes, capacities, and lifting heights to suit various project needs.

The Mammoth features a Dual 3-Motor FC Drive Unit and Alimak ALC Control Technology, enhancing operational control and safety. The hoist’s 250-metre lifting height, high door openings, and compatibility with other hoists help streamline material and passenger flow. Rapid installation without counterweights further supports project efficiency.

Alimak also offers customisation options and support services, ensuring the Mammoth can be tailored to specific project requirements. Connectivity and asset management solutions provide real-time monitoring to optimise performance and maintain operational efficiency.
