Alimak Updates Scaffold Transportation System

Alimak has introduced the STS 300 Scaffold Transportation System, designed to accommodate most ring lock system scaffolds. The system is intended to improve efficiency by allowing the installation of up to 300 square meters of scaffolding per day with just two operators. With a 300 kg payload capacity and a transport speed of 17 meters per minute, it provides a means to move scaffolding materials both vertically and horizontally while minimizing manual handling.

The STS 300 features a swivel loading system for safer material transfer, ground-level loading for ease of use, and stackable boxes with wheels for horizontal movement. The company states that the system requires only two operators, reducing workforce demands and minimizing risks in congested work areas. Designed for fast assembly with minimal tools, the STS 300 aims to enhance both productivity and safety.

Initially available in Europe, the STS 300 will be introduced to additional markets over time. Alimak says this phased rollout will enable broader support for scaffolding operations worldwide.
