ABB Highlights Electrification and Automation Systems at bauma


ABB showcased its latest electrification and automation technologies at bauma 2025, including solutions aimed at improving the sustainability and efficiency of construction and mining operations. On display were newly launched products such as the HES580 Mobile Inverter, AMXE160 Motor, and the Pro Traction Battery Series, which the company says are designed to support both hybrid and fully electric vehicle platforms. ABB also presented its new medium voltage drive, the ACS8080, alongside the ACS880 low-voltage cabinet and other energy-efficient systems.

The company highlights that its solutions are suitable for both new equipment and retrofit applications, with technologies that focus on reducing emissions, increasing motor efficiency, and operating reliably in harsh environments. ABB’s Harnessflex® EVO™ metallic conduit system, part of its broader automation and electrification portfolio, was also exhibited, with features aimed at protecting wiring in demanding electric vehicle applications.
