Wirtgen Group to Debut Slipform Paver SP 33 at World of Concrete 2025

The Wirtgen Group, in collaboration with John Deere, will showcase innovative concrete paving solutions at World of Concrete 2025 in Las Vegas, from January 21 to 23. Among the highlights is the world premiere of the SP 33 slipform paver, designed for offset and crosspave configurations. Featuring modular construction, the SP 33 can pave monolithic concrete profiles, including curbs, safety barriers up to 1.3 m in height, and slabs up to 3.0 m wide. Equipped with ECO mode for fuel-efficient operation and the AutoPilot 2.0 control system for precision, it is positioned as a versatile choice for challenging construction sites.

In addition to the SP 33, the Wirtgen Group will display its concrete paving train, which includes the WPS 102i placer/spreader, SP 124i inset slipform paver, and TCM 180i texture curing machine. The AutoPilot 2.0 system, available for offset pavers and placer/spreaders, eliminates the need for stringlines, enhancing safety and efficiency. Visitors to booth C5327 can also explore a range of John Deere equipment, including excavators and loaders tailored for various applications.

Representatives from the Wirtgen Group and John Deere will be available to discuss the equipment and its capabilities, providing insights into how these solutions address industry challenges.
