Hitachi Unveils Zero-Emission Machines at bauma

Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) showcased a range of zero-emission construction equipment and a new battery swap system designed to minimize downtime. The company states that its exhibit addresses key industry challenges, including climate impact, operator shortages, and rising costs. Among the highlights is LANDCROS One, a concept excavator integrating AI-assisted controls, modular design, and multiple powertrain options to support automation and workforce accessibility.

HCM says its battery-electric machines incorporate smart charging solutions, with a focus on maintaining productivity in demanding environments. The company was also introducing LANDCROS Connect, a fleet management system aimed at optimizing operations across mixed-brand machinery.
