Hitachi Construction Machinery Takes Electric Equipment on Tour

Hitachi Construction Machinery is taking three zero-emission machines on a tour of Europe to show how it is meeting demands from the construction industry for sustainable solutions. The battery-powered excavators, ranging from five to 14 tonnes will be demonstrated to selected dealers and customers, along with energy storage and charging units produced by Alfen BV.

The first stop is in Sweden where authorised Hitachi dealer Delvator is introducing the electric equipment to a leading construction company. Next up will be Denmark, followed by several other countries in the coming months. The tour will end at Bauma 2025 in Germany.

"We are working hard to meet the growing demand for zero-emission equipment and listening carefully to our customers' requirements for improved safety, increased productivity and reduced life-cycle costs. We look forward to receiving valuable feedback from our dealers and customers on our latest sustainable solutions. They highlight our commitment to the creation of a sustainable future and will play an important role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions." said Bill Drougkas, HCME Manager Product Management & Solution Linkage.
