Hitachi Construction Machinery Wins Design Award

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) has announced that its concept excavator, LANDCROS One, has received a 2025 Red Dot Design Award. First unveiled at Bauma in Munich in April, the model represents the company’s vision for a smarter, safer and more sustainable approach to construction equipment.

According to HCME, the LANDCROS One demonstrates a shift in its positioning from a traditional solution provider to a technology-driven innovator. The concept incorporates multiple powertrain options, operational modes and integrated safety features designed to address evolving industry needs
