Helma Celebrates Growth with Hitachi

Greek equipment dealer Helma SA is marking two major milestones in 2025: 40 years since its founding and five years as the authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) in Greece. The dual anniversary highlights both the company’s longevity in the sector and its role in expanding Hitachi’s footprint across the country since joining the HCME network in 2020.

Helma has supported the growth of the Hitachi Premium Rental programme in Greece and recently supplied ten ZX350-7 medium excavators under a rental agreement. With facilities in Athens and Magoula, and a customer base spanning road construction, quarrying and general earthworks, the company reports steady demand for Hitachi equipment.

CEO Iris Tsouma noted that Helma’s efforts have helped make Hitachi machines not only known, but well-regarded in the Greek market, and added that the company is continuing to invest in new facilities and stock to support further growth.
