JCB announce the introduction of the 145XR, a new reduced tailswing model in its X Series of crawler excavators. With a 27% shorter tailswing than the 140X, the company say the 145XR is optimized for tight spaces and urban job sites. It features up to 10% improved fuel efficiency, extended maintenance intervals, and a robust Stage V Dieselmax engine with 81kW (108hp) output.
The 145XR also includes a full-size cab with a 10” touchscreen display and customizable JCB UX interface. It offers a choice of monoboom or TAB boom configurations, with maximum digging depths up to 6,167mm and forward reaches up to 9,230mm. Optional features include a 360° camera system and a premium operator seat, enhancing both productivity and comfort.
“The JCB 145XR delivers all of the performance that customers need in a compact design with an ultra-tight slewing radius. It is perfect for working in tighter areas, delivering best-in-class performance and ultimate operator control.” said Paul Swallow, JCB’s Business Head for Excavators.
