First JCB 25Z-1 Mini Excavator Arrives in Northern Ireland

Philip Wilson Land Drainage has taken delivery of the first JCB 25Z-1 mini excavator to arrive in Northern Ireland. Supplied by Dennison JCB, the new zero tailswing model will be used across a range of domestic and commercial projects, complementing the company’s existing fleet of JCB machinery.

The 25Z-1 features a compact design with a width of 1,500mm and a weight of 2,550kg, making it towable by a van or 4x4. Key enhancements include an EU Stage V engine, a redesigned cab, and improved auxiliary controls, designed for efficient operation in confined spaces. These features make it well-suited to the company's varied contracting needs.

"We buy JCB because they are reliable, and the back-up and service from Dennison JCB is excellent. This latest machine is ideal – it will be perfect for what we're doing. We’re keen to invest in zero tailswing machines for the compact areas we work in, and the JCB’s ability to handle a rotating grab was a key factor for us." said Jeff Wilson, Philip Wilson Land Drainage.
