Liebherr reports that three of its tower cranes are supporting construction of the final Skypark tower in Bratislava, including the first HC-L luffing jib crane to be assembled in Slovakia. The 190 HC-L is climbing to a hook height of 145 metres, alongside a 150 EC-B 8 Litronic and a 110 EC-B 6, both supplied from Skanska Slovakia’s fleet.
The cranes are being used to construct the tallest of five towers designed by Zaha Hadid as part of a major city centre development. Liebherr says the models were selected for their adaptability and performance, with local dealer Kranimex supplying tower sections, climbing equipment, and other components.
